Tryout Process and Team Formation

For more information, please refer to NCRA’s guideline document.

All families are considered to be aware of the NO SPECTATOR policy during evaluations and assessments for all divisions U10 and higher.

Goalies:

For all divisions, please refer to NCRA’s Goalie Policy for guidance.

Athletes playing in the U10 or U12 divisions can identify during registration if their player is interested in dedicating time to the goalie position this season.  Those athletes that identify prior to assessments starting will be rotated through scrimmages within the evaluations in both skater and goalie positions.

Athletes in the U14, U16 and U19 divisions will be assessed on goalie specific skills as part of the UAA process and scrimmages during the competitive tryouts and/or as part of the balanced scrimmages during the balancing sessions.
